If you’re a qualified vet and would like to perform gastrointestinal and airway endoscopy in small animals confidently, this hands-on workshop is designed to help you build practical, real-world skills in a supportive clinical learning environment. Whether you’re completely new to endoscopy, already assisting with procedures in practice, or looking to improve your confidence and procedural flow, this workshop focuses on helping you develop techniques you can realistically apply back in clinic.

The VetPrac approach is practical at heart. With extensive time on the scopes, small group teaching and guidance from experienced specialists and educators, you’ll have the opportunity to observe, ask questions and personally refine your skills with real procedural experience. Ultimately, that’s what matters when you return to practice and start integrating endoscopy into your own diagnostic toolkit.

You’ll build confidence in:

  • Scope handling and calibration
  • Machine setup and image manipulation
  • Navigating the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum
  • Performing GI endoscopy procedures
  • Collecting diagnostic biopsies
  • Foreign body retrieval techniques
  • PEG tube placement
  • Bronchoscopy and bronchoalveolar lavage
  • Improving procedural efficiency and image quality
  • Integrating endoscopy into everyday clinical practice

This workshop is designed to help make endoscopy feel approachable, practical and achievable in the real-world veterinary setting. No matter your starting point, the goal is the same: to help you leave with stronger procedural skills, greater confidence and a clearer understanding of how endoscopy can become part of your clinical practice.
