Advanced level TPLO techniques for veterinary surgeons.

This course provides a comprehensive skills extension for registered veterinary surgeons already performing TPLO. You will perform an initial TPLO and receive personalised feedback on your surgical technique and a full postoperative radiographic debrief. Advanced strategies follow, including how to deal with excessive tibial plateau angle (eTPA), concurrent MPL and limb deformity, as well as TPLO for small and toy breeds. Finally, you’ll perform a TPLO revision surgery in the face of a postoperative proximal tibial fracture.

This workshop is for registered veterinarians who are committed to orthopaedic surgery. Participants from general practice, referral surgery, emergency and surgical residency programs are all welcome.

During your registration you will be asked to share details about your experience, including your:

  1. Completion of a hands-on basic fracture repair course
  2. Completion of a hands-on TPLO surgery course
  3. Clinical experience in CCL repair, MPL repair & meniscal treatment
  4. Surgical experience with 50+ TPLOs
  5. Current clinical role where you are actively performing TPLO as primary or assistant surgeon.

If you're not sure about your eligibility, please email us at getanswers@vetprac.com and we will gladly help.

This is a strictly limited opportunity with a strong focus on individual feedback for your surgical practice. Don't miss out on the chance to rapidly progress your surgical skills in 2025.
