Did you know that ultrasound is more sensitive in detecting pleural effusion and pneumothorax than radiography?

Fluid scores and B lines are not just for emergency vets. If you see trauma, perform surgery or deal with internal medicine cases, then you and your patients can benefit from ultrasound using focused assessment with sonography for trauma (FAST) views of the abdomen and thorax.

These ultrasound skills will change the way you think about diagnostic imaging and allow you to make faster clinical decisions.

All general practice, emergency and clinical veterinarians are welcome, and no previous ultrasound experience is necessary.

Rapid diagnostic imaging is not just for emergency vets. If you see trauma, perform surgery or deal with internal medicine cases, you can use focused assessment with sonography for trauma (FAST) techniques to grow as a clinician. Plus, this course includes emergency echo skills so you can identify overt cardiac remodelling, decreased cardiac contractility, fractional shortening and the left atrial to aortic ratio (LA:Ao).

These ultrasound scanning skills will change the way you think about diagnostic imaging and allow you to make faster clinical decisions.

All general practice, emergency and clinical veterinarians are invited to attend this workshop. No ultrasound experience is necessary.
